New Board for the Football Club

Following the announcement of the acquisition and control of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club Ltd by the Wycombe Wanderers Trust Ltd, the Trust is pleased to announce the following immediate changes to the Wycombe Wanderers main board structure.

It has been agreed by the Trust Board that Ivor Beeks (left) and Brian Kane (right) will continue to serve on the board, with Ivor as joint chairman. Ivor is now approaching the 25th anniversary of chairmanship, a period which has seen us transition from non-league status, to an FA Cup semi-final appearance and several promotions, a period of highs and some lows, but throughout which, Ivor has provided the club with dedicated service.

Ivor and Brian’s contributions to the negotiations that have seen the Trust take control have been very significant throughout the lengthy process.

Trust director Don Woodward (pictured left)who has been instrumental in leading the negotiations and whose influence during a very testing period cannot be overstated, will take on the role of joint chairman, alongside Ivor, with specific day to day responsibility for club affairs.

This joint chairmanship is designed to ensure continuity during what is expected to be a very challenging period, whilst, at the same time enabling a transition to a stable and secure future.

Trust directors Matt Clarke (left) and David Roberton (right)plus the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association chairman John Derben will complete the board.
