Trust Board – November Meeting

In line with our promise to be as open as we can, here are the points discussed at the November Trust Board meeting. Naturally there are some matters which we reserve the right not to put here into the public domain. Another Trust Members’ Meeting will be held early in the New Year.

All 11 Trust Directors were present.

Trust Matters: AGM date fixed for Wednesday 26th February (formal notice to follow)

Football Club: Finances – it is hope to have the group accounts FYE 30th June 2013 completed very soon. Internal consultations about long term capital structure are ongoing and will be completed by the end of December  followed by  full consultation with members about possible new structures taking place in January 2014, with a view to new structure and capital being in place by end March 2014 . In advance of this we have already had pledges for £166,000.

Team: Negotiations continue to agree contract extensions. (Subsequent to the meeting Billy Knott has been signed up by way of loan extension until the 29th January and Seb Cann-Svard for a further month)

Other – It is hoped that the Council will soon adopt the whole of Hillbottom Road and hence maintain it in future.

Frank Adams Legacy Ltd: Phase 1 in ‘Scores’ is now complete with the panels previously at the Museum now on display. Further items will go on display in the New Year once the Christmas decorations come down.

Consultation on the renaming of ‘Scores’ is being repeated and a new short list will be put out for members to vote on.

WW Sports and Education Trust: Looking to hold an event in the New Year to showcase its many varied areas of activity. Its new Board is working well together

AOB: 1. Park and Ride – Survey being carried out to find out if fans would use the service if re-introduced , with a small cost for everyone.

2. High Wycombe BIDCO – Matt Clarke is representing us on this initiative, which is seeking to improve the offer of the town centre, attract and retain new businesses and challenge perceptions.
