Trust Seeks New Finance Director

RegReg Rundle has indicated his intention to retire from the Trust Board at the next AGM, which is likely to be in late November this year (earlier than the usual February date).

We are therefore looking to co-opt a new Finance Director onto the Board in the near future to allow for a period of familiarisation and handover with Reg. The new appointee would then formally stand for election at the AGM.

The main aspects of the role are listed below:

  • Member of Wycombe Wanderers Trust Board – attend monthly and occasional ad hoc meetings.
  • Member of Frank Adams Legacy Board – attend meetings usually every two/three months.
  • Manage bank accounts, produce financial reports for both boards, administer Chairboys Funders’ interest payments, general financial administration, emails, etc – around 4/5 hours per week.
  • Some input into the Football Club finance function, particularly at the year end when the group accounts (Trust, Club and Frank Adams) need to be pulled together.
  • Liaision with our auditors regarding the accounts and with HMRC on tax issues.
