Anti-Social Behaviour – Text Service

Recently there have been some complaints from opposing teams and even from our own supporters about the bad language used by some of our fans both at our ground and at those we visit.

We encourage all fans to get behind the team but not to use foul and abusive language.

We repeat below the message from the Football Club that was carried in last Saturday’s Matchday Programme.

The club would like to remind its supporters of its regulations in relation to foul and abusive language around the stadium. The club’s policy states that “The use of threatening behaviour, foul or abusive language, as well as racial, homophobic or discriminatory abuse, chanting or harassment, is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the ground. The club may impose a ban for one or more matches.”

Supporters can report any anti-social behaviour by sending the word ‘Alert’ plus your location by text message to 82055, and the situation will be dealt with in a controlled manner by our team of stewards. This service is completely confidential.
