Report from Trust Board Meeting

Wycombe Wanderers Trust held its regular monthly board meeting on Thursday 23rd April.

The WWFC Chairman attended and gave a full update on matters relating to the Football Club.

Individual roles and responsibilities for the four new Trust Board directors were outlined and agreed by the Trust Chairman.

Martyn Broughton was appointed as Group Treasurer Elect with immediate effect and approved as the custodian and signatory to the Trust bank accounts. Martyn was not co-opted to the Board at this stage but this may be considered at a later stage.

At that time 140 applications had been received for the Share Scheme so far with a total value of £342,000 over the next five years. (As of today, its 162 applications generating £370k)

It was reported that WWSET is enjoying probably its most successful year in 2014/15. Paul Foley has commenced as new head of WWSET, joining from AFC Wimbledon.

Matchday badges have earned a profit of around £2,500 for this season.

Don Woodward announced his intention to step down as Director and the Trust chairman thanked Don for his significant contribution particularly for his negotiations while acquiring the club from Steve Hayes in 2012 and his stewardship of the Club during the Trust’s first two years of ownership.
