Membership Update – 1066 and…still growing!

JB pic 2 (2)John Bignell writes “Having taken on the role of membership secretary recently I have enjoyed meeting many of you and putting names to faces.

Membership of the Trust continues to grow with 15 new members joining in the last few weeks. Our current total stands at 1066 which is an excellent total. Unsurprisingly the largest category is Adult with 654 members, followed by OAP with 224.

This is a busy time with the majority of membership renewals due on either 1st October or 1st November dependant on the date of joining. All new memberships run from 1st November. A big thank you to all of you who have renewed recently whether by standing order, bank transfer, cheque or cash.

If you usually pay by cheque/cash and have not yet renewed, please send your payment to 3 Kingswood Place, High Wycombe HP13 7SR. There will be an opportunity to pay at the Trust table in the Vere Suite on Friday 13th November when we play Leeds United. You could also renew prior to entering the AGM on Thursday 26th November. From an administrative point of view Standing Orders are easier for us so if you feel able to set this up for November 2016 it would be much appreciated. Please use this form Membership and Standing Order Form or contact me for a form johnbig@wycombewandererstrust.com

Increasing Our Membership

It occurred to me whilst writing this update that every member must know someone who is a fan but not necessarily a Trust member. It could be a friend, spouse, partner, relative, work colleague, neighbour, maybe a younger person in your family (under 25 membership is only £5 per year) and that if we could all get one other person to join the membership would double, which is not unreasonable given our average home attendance. This would really reinforce our standing as a supporter owned club. Sounds easy doesn’t it, why not give it a try? Oh, by the way my wife is now a member!!

Again thanks to all members for your continued support of the Trust and Your Football Club.”

Best wishes
